Step 1: Clear cut w/ root rake includes removing all trees, tree stumps, roots, and underbrush. After all preliminary vegetation has been removed, the entire work area is raked by a bull dozer with attached root rake too remove all roots that are beneath the ground.
Step 2: Hydro-mulching (underbrush removal). Includes mulching up of materials up to 6″ in diameter. When complete there will be a layer of mulched material that varies in size
Step 3: Scraping of vegetation (vegetation consists of grass, weeds and small saplings) along with soil beneath to the required depth. Removal of larger trees, rocks or atypical impediments. Select Fill – Sand/Clay Mix – typically consisting of 60% sand and 40% clay.
Step 4: Compaction/Moisture Tests up to 97%
