Step 1: Clear cut w/ root rake includes removing all trees, tree stumps, roots, and underbrush. After all preliminary vegetation has been removed, the entire work area is raked by a bull dozer with attached root rake too remove all roots that are beneath the ground. (Depth of rake depends on requirements by customer.)
Step 2: Loading debris, mulch, chips, trees or other items from premises and disposing of it properly. Removal of all root balls from site
Step 3: Scraping of vegetation (vegetation consists of grass, weeds and small saplings) along with soil beneath to the required depth. Removal of larger trees, rocks or atypical impediments. Select Fill – Sand/Clay Mix – typically consisting of 60% sand and 40% clay.
Step 4: Construction of building pad to specified square footage and depth (5′ added to building envelope to calculate square footage). Compacted to 95%, consisting of select fill (sand/clay mix). Does not include costs of compaction tests. Any and all special instructions must be disclosed prior to work beginning. Any specifications not included on this proposal will be billed accordingly as a change order. Note: Different areas have different types of select fill and may have variations in color and consistency.
Step 5: Compaction/Moisture Tests up to 97%
